Ahh i did the whole phoenix freehandedly with a mouse. I use the air brush and the smudge tool. I hope you like it. Please any comments are welcome.

I love it! It's beautiful! The colours are excellent and the hand-made aspect of it is amazing :) (Smile) It just goes to show that you don't need a graphics tablet to do excellent hand drawn images in photoshop :) (Smile) and excellent use of the smudge tool too :) (Smile)

I have been going by the nickname phoenix (in one form or another) for longer than I can remember, and have been on the lookout for an appropriate image for several years now. This picture is excellent, I love it! I think the eclipse behind the wing is a nice touch. It will definitely become the wallpaper on my laptop...

In fact, I spent a couple of days playing with a Valentine's Day picture (with a couple of lines of my own Haiku) which used this as the background image... :-) (Smile)
